My then 4 year old daughter got this doll for Christmas from her grandfather. It is a beautiful doll and so much fun to dress and do her hair which is easily kept with a wide tooth comb, a spray bottle of water, and some baby oil to keep it moist and smooth it out. She loves this doll and sleeps and plays with her daily. It is a lot cheaper from the store than here. It has since lost an eyelash, which is a problem a lot of people are having with this doll. I called the company and told them my daughter couldn't part with the doll long enough to send it to their hospital. They offered an exchange for a new doll as they informed me their dolls are 100% guarenteed. I brought it to the store, two years old, well played with, missing every part of her outfit except her dress, no book, and they gave me a brand new one in the box including the book!!!! Any company that does that gets my recommendation!

I got this doll a few years ago for my 7th or 8th birthday and I love her! She is so pretty. I gave this doll a four for educational value because in her book it shows what it was like during the Boston tea party. Just don't take out her hair, and dont brush out her curls, because it will all just turn into a frizzy mess. You can get her original look done at the salon at stores, but I don't know how well they do because I've never had it done for her.Overall, this a great doll. I recommend it ages 9+

Beautiful doll, she is better in person than the picture, although the price is higher than a normal AG doll, its all worth it when you open the box.....GREAT COMPANY!! I LOVE AMERICAN GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a MUST-BUY! You will NEVER regret this purchase. Buy it from Amazon because its retired from American Girl, and its a bit pricey because it was retired earlier this year, they now have new historical dolls! -Biggest American Girl fan
