As a BJD collector, I purchased this doll for the "plus" of the removable fangs and extra wig, eyes and costume, expecting a really competitive offering from an American company. Although I had previously had bad experiences with Ashton Drake collectibles, I hoped this doll would atone for past grievances. However, not surprisingly, it only confirms the company's merited reputation for bad-design-and-beneath-made-in-China-standards.The vinyl was supposed to be top notch: smooth and resin-like. Instead it is coarse and gritty. Furthermore, when I displayed the doll in the extra black "vampire" costume (with a doll stand, as the high-heeled "goth" shoes are so badly done that she can't stand alone -as is expected from every BJDoll/BJD accessory), after merely two hours of posing, away from sunlight and humidity in a non-smoking environment, the pelvis, groin, upper legs and knee-joints were permanently stained in black: not surprising from the cheap cotton fabric of the dress (the bodice is lined in white, granted) and the even cheaper materials used for underwear and stockings -which are another feat of unbelievably poor craftsmanship.The face sculpt is rather nice, but the eyes are way too small to manipulate inside the tiny head.While the wig "fastening" system (velcro) is a good idea, you can only change the wigs a couple of times before the hairstyles come loose.And the fangs! They're also half of what they seem in the promo picture, so make sure to keep your tweezers handy!It's an unforgivable lie to pass this doll off as a BJD. Attention, please, Ashton Drake marketing geniuses: THE JOINTING IS MECHANICAL. Therefore, except for -perhaps- the wig/eye swapping feature (readily available in offerings from other companies), this doll cannot be considered a BJD. She's more in the new Barbie "Fashionista"/Pivotal body class; Integrity's Fashion Royalty league; or Tonner's Tyler family, to name a few.Lastly, the feet swapping feature -from flat to "heeled" feet- is not only glitched, but potentially laming. Due to the extreme brittleness of the "anchoring" mechanism (a stem you have to push into or pull out of the lower leg, similar to the Bratz line), you could easily end up with a pair of useless feet. (And some very interesting worst-case scenarios/combinations!) So make up your mind and leave them in place. Permanently.In sum, a terrible fiasco! But the name is ironically apt. Don't wait to get bitten to be twice shy of this doll!

Overall, this girl is a nice alternative to the more expensive resin BJDs. Granted, she doesn't have as much mobility, especially considering the feet don't bend and the joints in her limbs are mechanical, but she's a fun and beautiful doll. I love her precious wigs and the knitted hat and sweater. Her makeup is beautiful and the eyelashes are elegant and glow copper in the sunlight. It was also charming to see her nails painted a pretty shade of red, and her face sculpt is absolutely exquisite. Her eyes are pretty easy to change and can be switched with Asian BJD eyes; I hear 10 mm works best, and 6-7 wigs fit her head. Her head cap doesn't fit on perfectly, but it stays in place and is easily removable, unlike many ABJD headcaps, which I hear are the devil to remove. The vinyl is smooth and looks like porcelain. I keep the hair net over her wig when her hat is on to keep it nice, you have to be careful with the styled wigs as, like all doll hair, they can get mussed pretty easily. I love the cute pink bows in her hair. I haven't tried her black outfit yet, so I don't know if I will have the issue with staining, but I plan to soak it for a while to get the extra pigment out. It should be noted her ankles should be heated with a heating pad on a low setting to reduce risk of cracking of the vinyl when changing the feet. A hair drier works too, but has a much higher risk of melting the plastic, so I recommend a heating pad--it doesn't take much heat to soften her ankles enough to make the feet changeable. Also realize the snap used is a bit thin for the thick denim of her jeans and pops off almost immediately; this can be remedied with some sewing or hot glue. Overall this doll is a great deal, as far as BJDs go, but like all BJDs, she needs TLC to keep her in good shape. I love my Delilah, who I have named Iris, and look forward to collecting for her in the future.

This doll exceeded my expectations. You wouldn't like her if you are into Asian BJDs and are used to paying $500+ for a doll, but if you want a doll that is high qualilty and still a great value, customizable, and has a ton of different pieces to play with, then you may like Delilah.I never had any problems with staining on this doll. I don't know how you would if you used her properly, considering she wears white tights and a white body suit so the black clothing never touches her skin.But that's just my 2 cents. I always feel it's better to see a doll in person to know if she's the one for you.
